House

I bought a house in Roselle Park, 515 Mapplewood Ave. It is $209,900 and has 4 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. It has a 1 car garage and has a basement. The kitchen needs to be re done because it is very plain. Most of the walls in the house need to be re-painted because they are all white. This house could easily be renovated and flipped for more money.

Architect Personal History

I was born on October 12th, 1926 in San Miguel de Tucumán, Argentina. I studied at the Universidad Nacional de Tucumán, and completed my studies at the School of Architecture at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I started my career in the New Haven offices of architect Eero Saarinen. In 1952 I immigrated to the United States and became a naturalized U.S. citizen in 1964. I married Diana Balmori and had two kids who became a neurobiologist and an architect. I served as dean of the School of Architecture at Yale University from 1977 to 1984. My firm employs about 100 architects, designers, and support staff in New Haven, Connecticut. I am known for creating the tallest buildings in the world. In 1991, the American Institute of Architects (AIA) listed me among the ten most influential living American architects. Some of the buildings I created were: Petronas Towers, Wells Fargo Center, and the Bank of America Corporate Center.

Hotel Description

I designed a huge five star luxury hotel on Google SketchUp. It is made mostly out of glass, concrete, and metal using the modern style.  There are many windows on each side of the hotel and two huge windows on the back side of it. There are walls around the hotel with glass to see through to the hotel. The hotel has a huge point at the top that makes the building a lot taller and more elegant looking. The hotel is designed for the family to get away and just have a good time. It has all the features of other five start hotels around the world. The hotel will have an indoor pool, restaurant, gym, and many luxurious rooms to satisfy the needs of the customer. The hotel will also have a huge lobby where visitors could relax and talk to any of the hotel’s employees if they need anything.

Cabin Retreat

I designed a cabin retreat for three working class females. I designed a relaxation room with a couple couches, a television, and a fireplace. I also created an L-shaped kitchen with a table and chairs to eat meals, and play monopoly. There are two bedrooms for two of the three ladies and the other woman would need to sleep on the couch in the relaxation room. There is a deck off the back of the house with a hot tub and a table with chairs to see the great view of the mountain and the lake. There are many trees surrounding the house for complete privacy, and there are bushes and flowers to make the overall landscaping look nice. The cabin is perfectly designed for the three women to have a great vacation.
